Introducing….. Bearboy and the Cursor

A smart little platformer I’ve been working on for about a month. I’ve had this idea around in different forms since uni but only now really had the time and skills to be able to pull it off.

Features:

• Run, jump and…mouse? Use the cursor the activate objects in the level!
• some really solid platforming and level design
• story that takes the piss
• 24 levels planned (including final boss!)
• graded difficulty zones, yar yar yar
• lots of replayability, beat your records for each level, etc.

Final product may or may not contain a top hat.

Finally…

I got around to setting a template up for my games, haven’t got a lot at the moment but it’s all ready for when I do.

anyway, if you look up top there, you can see a little thumb for one of my games which was sent into the big wide world webternet about a month ago. Very happy with the results, as the game and it’s release was somewhat of an experiment for me.

Ok, so I used to have a more arcade based site but I have decided to make it a little more personal.

I plan to use this space for a number of reasons:-

• showcasing my games
• passing on some of my AS3 knowledge

• talking about my design theories
